Pinoleum

Pinoleum which is made in France and Italy, is a luxurious fabric, quite a bit heavier in look and feel than Softdrape, but has a rich quality. It is woven from pine reeds and UV resistant cotton and polyester thread. The edges are bound with matching cotton edge tape that resists fading. Pinoleum filters, but does not completely block the sunlight. Pinoleum can be naturally finished or painted in a variety of colors.

Pinoleum shades may also be lined on the exterior with heat reflective fabric if a greater degree of insulation or sun reflectance is desired. Pinoleum shades are typically mounted in a Roman-fold. Note: A high humidity environment may not be ideal for this fabric, because of the possibility of mold and mildew.
