Aluminum Conservatory with Leaded Glass

Chicago, Illinois

This aluminum conservatory, designed by Town & Country, creates an inviting transition to the outdoors and provides a low-maintenance garden room. An impressive kitchen-entertainment area for gatherings is created by the folding glass walls that link the conservatory to the rest of the home. The addition of leaded glass to the principal gable adds a soft decorative accent to the glazed structure.

Our design accommodates the high basement ceilings typical of late 19th century urban homes. Furthermore, the height of the conservatory is limited by the second floor windows which created the opportunity to use a flat roof center section as a small balcony, engineered into the conservatory framing.

“The finished result was perfect. I am beyond 100% happy to recommend Town & Country, their design and construction staff and the quality of their beautiful conservatories. ”
