Gabled Conservatory Garden House

Old Lyme, Connecticut

This small but ornate garden house, used as a working greenhouse conservatory, features decorative fluted pilasters and a true-divided gable glazing pattern. The knee wall height was dictated by standard planting bench heights for over wintering plants. The distinction between a garden house and a greenhouse has to do with intended use and function of the building. We can create garden house plans to accommodate all prospective uses.
