Conservatory with Hipped Flat Roof

To further the distinction between an ordinary sunroom and a conservatory, conservatories achieve their best design intent by blending with their host structure to accent, but not overly compete with the principal structure. This is how we achieve our goal of creating a sunroom that looks as though it was always part of the original structure. This rectangular hipped flat roof conservatory has a constrained height to avoid interfering with the home’s gingerbread eaves. Our flat roof railing mirrors the balcony railing pattern, and the decorative roof railing echos the owner’s pre-existing deck railing.
