Orangeries are distinct from conservatories due to the flat roof perimeter and center lantern (skylight). Interior soffits surround the room, and rooftop box gutters are concealed. While creating the feeling of a more enclosed space, orangeries still fill the room with natural light. This style can solve a variety of connection challenges and may be a better match for certain homes.

Request a BrochureThe Orangery unique style has less glass area, providing additional shade in the summer and a cozier feeling of enclosure in the winter. The interior soffits can also be used for accent lighting, a canopy over built in shelving and a place for HVAC outlets.
Orangeries are best built in wood which can be used for attractive detailing and other custom features.
An Orangery can feature a lantern roof with or without side frames and can be used in Courtyards or to accommodate overhanging eaves.
